The quarterly newsletter corresponds with the Solstices and Equinoxes by coming out a couple days before each Sabbat. The newsletter has a theme for each issue. These themes are simple and serve only as inspiration. As such, submissions are not limited to the theme.
Specific categories for submissions include:
Goddesses
Gods
Sabbat-related articles
Recipes (preferably for something traditionally eaten around the time)
Spells
Meditations (guided and/or solitary)
Quick rants (about the Pagan community, time of year, life in general, etc.)
Path Questions (I will be posting the questions, submissions will be answers to the previous issue's question.) The Path Questions section is currently on hold until enough interest returns. If you would like to see the Path Question section come back, send me an email to let know!
Poems (preferably related to theme)
Quotes (preferably related to theme)
Artwork
Book Reviews
Not every issue will contain all of these sections. In some cases, there may be more than one of the same section (i.e.: two recipes or three poems). When I have more submissions of the same type, I may choose to feature only one and save the other for a future issue. I will let you know when your submissions will be used.
The submissions are not limited to these suggestions. If you have any sort of article or any other kind of submission, do not hesitate to send it in. Even link submissions with information (related advertisements) will be accepted. These are just some guidelines.
Remember to send submissions to MIM Newsletter with the subject title "Newsletter Submission."
You can find the newsletter archive here to read past issues.
Upcoming Issue Information
~We are now accepting submissions for the Ostara issue.
~Deadline for the next issue's submissions: Thursday, March 1st, 2012
~The theme for the next issue will be "Healing Through Cleaning." Sometimes we find ourselves building up too much of everything. We have too much clutter, too much to do, too much energy hanging around, just too much! Whether we need just a little healing in our lives or a lot of it, cleaning out the old makes room to bring in that positive, healing energy. Share your experiences of or tips for healing through cleaning.
