Blessed Samhain! (And Beltane, for our southern hemisphere brothers and sisters!)
As I continue updating aesthetics and adding visuals, I'm also catching up on adding book reviews from books I've been reading over the past few years. I'm slowly but surely getting to the proverbial finish line!
While I was adding in another book review, I realized it was time for a much needed update to the navigation as a couple of the pages have gotten super long. Here's a quick recap of the updates:
The four major book reviews pages (Wicca Book Reviews, Witchcraft and Pagan Book Reviews, Metaphysical Book Reviews, and Children and Parenting Book Reviews) have an updated table of contents that allow to you to scroll directly to the review section. Rather than by individual titles, it's back to being based on the letters of the authors' last names. This helps you get to where you want to go on the page without overcrowding the table with every title.
The table of contents on each page now has a basic image background to help break the page visually, while highlighting the ability to navigate the page through the table.
There's now a new Critical Pagan Book Reviews page. Currently, this contains the previous subsections from the main book reviews page (Note on Ravenwolf Books, On Pause, and Books I won't be finishing). It didn't seem necessary to keep these sections where they were, so a separate page reduces the distraction. In time, I'll go through the other major book reviews pages to pull out any books I don't recommend to place them on this new page instead.
Along with these changes will be opportunities for me to create new subsections on the main Pagan Book Reviews page to quickly scan curated lists of my favorites, topic recommendations, etc. It's all in the brainstorming stage right now, though, so expect these to be rolled out over time.
And now time for me to get back to conversing with the ancestors...
Light & Love, Evy
